Terms and Conditions

Welcome to our terms and conditions of use for halfmooninteriors.co.uk. Please read through these carefully before placing your enquiry. By using this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. Please also read our Privacy Statement regarding personal information provided by you.

We may change these terms from time to time without notice. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders received.

DELIVERY

Free of charge delivery can only be made to the Wigton, Silloth and Aspatria areas (CA5, CA7, CA15). Estimated timescales will be advised once we have received your order.

CANCELATION OR NOT FULFILLING YOUR ENQUIRY

Our right to not accept your ENQUIRY or FULFIL your ENQUIRY.

We reserve the right to refuse any enquiry for whatever reason. We also reserve the right to not fulfil any enquiry(an enquiry already accepted by us) in (amongst others) the following situations, without being liable for any damage or costs:

* the product is not available / in stock;

* your billing information is not correct or not verifiable;

* your enquiry is flagged up by our security systems as an unusual enquiry or an enquiry

susceptible to fraud;

* we have reason to believe that you are a reseller;

* there was an error in the price quote;

* we could not deliver to the address provided by you;

* your order enquiry does not conform to specific product purchase requirements as stated on the product page.

PAYMENT

Payment can be made once we confirm the enquiry is a firm order.

All prices are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. The total cost of the order is the price of the products ordered plus the delivery charge.

All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

The payment charge is made on or before point the order is dispatched/collected.

RETURNS

Items reserved on line and collected from the store are treated as in store purchases for the purpose of refund.

Items delivered: We guarantee to refund any item you are not completely happy with when you return it to us within 14 days of receipt. In order to be eligible for a refund, items must be returned to us unused, in original packaging, and with all original brand tags still attached. Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment. You are responsible for returning the item to 37 High Street, Wigton. We will not collect or pay for collection.

RETURNS BY POST

If you return goods via post please note that we are not liable for the costs. We recommend using either Royal Mail Recorded Delivery (with sufficient compensation cover for the value of contents) or a delivery service such as DHL, please note that we are not liable for items lost in the post. Returned goods must be packaged securely as we will not accept returned goods that are damaged in transit.

Any refunds will be credited to your original payment method, please note that credit card companies only allow refunds to be made to the card used to pay for the original order. Please be aware that it can take as long as seven working days for a refund to be acknowledged by your credit card company.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor's display, we cannot guarantee that any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.

All sizes and measurements are approximate, however we do make every effort to ensure they are as accurate as possible.

We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto our system. We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been mis-published including prices and promotions.

Prices are subject to change without notice.

Goods are subject to availability. As there is a delay between the time when the order is placed and the time when the order is accepted, the stock position relating to particular items may change. If an item you have ordered becomes out of stock before we accept the order we shall notify you as soon as possible and you will not be charged for the out of stock items.

We continually update our online store. From time to time our retail stores may run special local promotions (which may not be available on our web-site) or we may offer special discounts online that are not available in the retail store.

PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS

When you place an enquiry request on our website we shall email you an acknowledgment of your enquiry. Our acceptance of an enquiry does not take place until paymemt has been revieved for dispatch/collection of the enquiry, at which point the purchase contract will be made and you will be charged.

Any discounts triggered by the entry of a promotional code will not be applied until the order is accepted but will be detailed on the invoice.

We reserve the right to refuse an enquiry. Non-acceptance of an enquiry may, for example, result from one of the following: The product ordered being unavailable stock, being unable to obtain payment authorisation, the identification of an error within the product information, including price or promotion.

If there are any problems with your enquiry we shall contact you. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time.

The laws of England shall govern the contract between us and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England. Your statutory rights are not affected.
